Course Structure
The impact of economic reforms in the 1990s on Indian market has been unprecedented. It brought an opportunity of global competition where effective and sustainable performance of the corporate became key to organizational success. In such a scenario, human resource (HR) offers competitive advantage to meet the demands of contemporary business. HR functions demand multi-fold skills to achieve key performance. The role of HR professionals needs a shift from technical to tactical and legitimate to strategic. HR managers must have a strong interpersonal focus and develop creativity, originality and adaptability in a learning culture that demands disciplined thinking and encourages curiosity. This programme works with students to generate an in-depth, high-level, critical and practical experience of the management of human resources.

The band of HR managers must understand and know how to add value to business. In this backdrop, the programme focuses on the development of knowledge, skill and attitude to enable the students to meet the requirements of the modern organization as HR professionals.

Scope of MSW(HR)
• MHRM Programme has endeavoured to fill the void created by traditional pattern of management education in India. It realises the need to relate class room theory to professional skills. The MHRM attempts to develop managers of today and tomorrow who have the academic background, managerial skills and initiative to anticipate and solve the complicated business problems in domestic and international market.
• The programme is designed to provide a broad-based management education to prepare youth to shoulder managerial responsibilities in organisations and to lay special emphasis on provision of education for development of entrepreneurial capabilities suitable to various organisations.
• The programme inculcates in the student’s innovation and creativity so as to facilitate changes and increase productivity, cost effectiveness and efficiency in future organisational system, by effective management of human resources.
• The programme aims at preparing future managers for performing the present role/jobs/tasks/functions effectively and creates conditions to help employees bridge the gaps through development.
• The programme helps in developing in the young student’s managerial expertise to face competition both in service and manufacturing sectors at national and international levels.
• The programme aims of developing individual competencies, inter personal relationships and team spirit through rigorous theoretical and practical sessions.

Eligibility
The candidates should be eligible for admission as per Charutar Vidya Mandal University Criteria. Student who must have passed any Bachelor degree conducted by the UGC recognized University or an examination of any other University of statutory examining body recognized as equivalent there to in accordance.
