From business perspective, it helps to understand the nature and relation of production and other economic variable. Apart from the perspective of expertise in economics, government also recruits economists through Indian Economic service from their different economic department and foreign affair ministries. Moreover, Security and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), International Financial Service Centres Authority (IFSCA) and Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR) in RBI are some crucial institutions that requires persons with excellent economics understanding to take macro-level decisions.
