Course Structure
In 2015, after success of BA (Honours) Journalism & Mass Communication, the institute expanded its avenues and started offering the M.A. Journalism & Mass Communication after graduation in any discipline. The vision for M.A. (JMC) studies was to build young graduates tuned to the discipline of media and marketing as well as giving them a definitive insight into the workings of media industry at large. The programme focuses on some specialized areas of Print, Electronic and Radio Journalism along with Public Relations, Media Planning & Buying, Media Management, Advertising, Cinema, etc.
ILSASS has the best in-house and external faculty- which give it that edge which no other private or other university-governed media/journalism school can strive to achieve.
The two-year degree course with an added advantage of it being trilingual, enables the students to learn about the industry, not just in classrooms but through practical sessions as well. The institute is equipped with a state-of-the-art Video Production studio within the campus with all necessary equipment. The students also compulsorily enrol for a month-long internship in renowned media houses during their course of study, a crucial part of the curriculum.

Eligibility
The candidates should be eligible for admission as per Charutar Vidya Mandal University Criteria. Student who must have passed any Bachelor degree conducted by the UGC recognized University or an examination of any other University of statutory examining body recognized as equivalent there to in accordance.
