The Institute of Language studies and social sciences of CVM University offers unique under graduate degree program (BSW (HR)) in Social work with specialisation in Human resource management. The program in Social work and HR provide a wide range of opportunities for students who want to work as HR professional in NGO, government or/and corporate sectors. The program is adopted as a course that will provide a sound theoretical understanding of modern social phenomena in combination with the skills necessary to apply this knowledge in various fields such as in the Government sector, NGO sector, Industrial sector and Research. The program also integrated field work in either an NGO or in the corporate sector and a Dissertation, the completion of which are deemed necessary for the successful completion of the program.

| Eligibility |
- The candidates should be eligible for admission as per CVM University. Students who have passed XII Science/Commerce/Arts Stream Examination or its equivalent examination with English as a subject, are eligible for admission.
- At least 40% marks in aggregate at standard XII, or "A Level" examination for NRI / Foreign students with equivalent grades without compartments.
